Terms of Service

1. Who we are

AI Shop Audit ("we", "us") runs the website aishopaudit.com and the automated report service described on it. You can reach us at [email protected]. By using the site or buying a report, you agree to these Terms.

2. The service

AI Shop Audit is automated software. When you submit a store URL, it reads the publicly available pages of that store (up to 8 pages for a paid report) and checks things like:

• whether common AI crawlers are allowed by the store's robots.txt;
• whether the store publishes an llms.txt file;
• whether product pages expose structured data such as price, availability and product identifiers.

The free check runs a small subset of these checks and shows results on screen. The paid report ($29, one-time) covers the whole scan and is delivered as an HTML report to the email address you use at checkout. Delivery usually takes about 30 minutes. It is not a subscription and there are no recurring charges.

The service does not log in to your store, does not need access to your admin, and does not change anything on your store.

3. Payments

Orders are processed by Creem, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Creem handles payment, applicable sales tax or VAT, and invoices, and its name may appear on your card statement. Your purchase is also subject to Creem's terms. We never see or store your full card details.

Prices are shown in US dollars and include applicable taxes unless the checkout page says otherwise.

4. Your responsibilities

• Only submit a store you own or are authorized to have audited.
• Give a working email address at checkout so we can deliver your report.
• Don't use the service to overload, attack or scrape sites, to get around rate limits, or for anything unlawful.
• Don't resell the service or present our reports as your own product without our written permission.

We may refuse or cancel an order (with a full refund) if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.

5. What the report is, and isn't

The report reflects what our software could read from your public pages at the time of the scan. AI assistants and search platforms change their behavior often and are run by third parties we don't control. The report is informational: it does not guarantee that your products will appear in any AI assistant, rank in any position, or produce any traffic or sales. Code snippets and fix suggestions are provided as examples; review them, and back up your theme, before applying changes to your store.

6. Intellectual property

The website, software and report format belong to us. The report you buy is yours to use for your own business, including sharing it with your team, developers or agency. Your store content stays yours.

7. Third parties and trademarks

AI Shop Audit is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Shopify Inc., OpenAI, Perplexity, Google, Meta or any other company named on the site. Those names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe what the service checks.

8. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service running and reports accurate, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost sales), and our total liability for any claim relating to a report is limited to the amount you paid for that report. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The version and date on this page apply to orders placed after that date. Material changes will be noted on this page.
